Although this may come as a shock to you, the Netflix Original journey dated 12 years back to 2012 with the first series, Lilyhammer, broadcasting on the platform. Yes, you heard that right, believe it or not, the Netflix Original phenomenon did not develop from Stranger Things! If you are looking to be blown away by one of the most infamous con artists, The Tinder Swindler has to be your go-to watch. Following the life of Simon Leviev, if you even want to refer to his fake surname, that is, the documentary covers his swindling ways and follows his fraudulent lifestyle conning women out of thousands. If you want even more of a scare before watching this documentary, we must add that Leviev currently is a free man living an extremely lavish lifestyle. Talk about karma … not! 

Jeen-Yuhs: A Kanye Trilogy 

If you still love Kanye despite his crazy ways, be sure to tune into the Jeen-Yuhs three-part documentary series that covers Ye’s life and his ever-rising success. Featuring over 20 years of footage, this Netflix Original content allows viewers to witness a major difference between West’s character back in the day compared to now, which can be heart-warming at points. It documents his struggle to prove his talent to successful names in the industry, his career in fashion, his part in the 2020 presidential election, and the influential guidance from his late mother, Donda. Love is Blind 

This speed dating reality TV show is not for the faint-hearted. Contestant wise that is! For viewers, it is extremely entertaining if we do say so ourselves. Fifteen men and fifteen women are selected from the same area to participate in a blind dating show and the only way they can meet their significant other is by communicating with one another in pods. However, the plot twist is that they will only see one another when they believe that they are ready to accept a marriage proposal. Daring and risky to say the least! Released in 2020, it has proven to be extremely popular.  

Maid 

The eye-opening, American drama TV series, Maid, is essentially the epitome of what life is like living on the breadline. For single mother Alex, life is challenging. When she flees an abusive relationship, she packs up herself, and her young daughter, and simply heads for the road. With no plan ahead, she resorts to the welfare programme and realises that assistance won’t be as easy as she thinks. To provide a greater life for her daughter she must fulfill the role of a working maid, and with dysfunctional and unstable surroundings it certainly isn’t easy.  

Squid Game 

Netflix’s most viewed series comes next on the list, sitting as the top viewed programme in a whopping 94 countries! So, what is so great about Squid Game? We will give you a brief rundown and let you find out the rest for yourself. To escape financial difficulties and debt, 456 players agree to take part in a series of children’s games. When they realise that losing a game will result in their death, opting out seems like the best option, but will their financial troubles drive them back? Absolutely.  

Woman in the Window 

If you like a thriller mixed with a murder mystery, the Woman in the Window is the best Netflix Original content for you. The film follows Anna, a child psychologist suffering from agoraphobia. As a result of this, she is separated from her partner and daughter and fills her days and evenings excessively drinking alcohol, taking a large quantity of medication, oh, and looking out of her window. When she witnesses a murder occur in her neighbour’s home, the plot thickens when who she believes was killed shows up as a new person. Confusing, we know! But who is hiding the secrets here? Tune in today to find out.

Yes, we have all developed an obsession with that special someone in one way or another, but we do know them at least! Well, we certainly hope you did. If you didn’t, watching You will certainly help you relate to someone. That someone being Joe Goldberg. When he develops an obsession with Beck, an aspiring writer, his obsessive and controlling nature is taken to the next level when he begins using social media to track her constantly. The good news?
