Gandhi’s 10 Rules for Changing the World

“You must not lose faith in humanity. Humanity is an ocean. Even a few drops can make a difference. the ocean are dirty, the ocean does not become dirty.”

“The difference between what we do and what we are capable of doing would suffice to solve most of the world’s problem.”

“If I had no sense of humor, I would long ago have committed suicide.”

Mahatma Gandhi doesn’t need much introduction. Everyone is familiar with Mahatma Gandhi. theThe man who leads theIndians gained independence from British rule in 1947.

So let’s just move on to some of my favourite tips from Mahatma Gandhi.

1. Change your mind.

“You must be theChange you desire to see in the world.”

“As human beings, our greatness lies not so much in being able to remake theWorld – That is theMyth of the atomic age – as in being able to remake ourselves.”

Change your mind and you can change the world. Change your mindset and you’ll change the way you feel. So it goes. theYour world will change. This is not only because you’re now seeing the world through new lenses of thought and emotion, but also because the change within can allow you to take action in ways you wouldn’t have – or maybe even have thought about – while stuck in your old thought patterns.

And theProblem with changing the outside world but not yourself is thatYouIt will still be youOnce you make the change, you are successful. for. You’ll still have flaws like anger, negative tendencies, self-sabotaging tendencies, and other emotions. It is all there.

So in this new setting, you’ll still not find what your hoped for. forYour mind is still filled with the negative stuff. Your ego may become even more powerful if it is not able to see and separate itself from you. Because your ego loves to split things and find enemies, it might try to create more problems and conflicts in the world and your life.

2. You are in control

“Nobody can hurt me without my permission.”

You are free to choose how you feel or react to things. There may be a “normal” or a common way to react to different things. But that’s mostly just all it is.

You can decide how you react to almost anything. You don’t have to freak out, overreact of even react in a negative way. It may not be the same every time. Sometimes, a knee-jerk reaction is all that’s needed. Sometimes an old thought pattern kicks in.

Once you accept that you cannot control your feelings, you can begin to integrate this thought into your day and make it a habit. This is a habit you can build upon over time. This makes your life easier. The whole lotIt’s easier and more enjoyable.

3. Forgive it and let it go.

“The weak can never forgive. Forgiveness can be a virtue theAttribute of the strong.”

“An eye forEye only makes the eye look. the whole world blind.”

Fighting evil with evil won’t help anyone. And, as was stated in thePrevious tip: You can choose how you react to anything. If you are able to incorporate this thought habit into your daily life, you will be able to react more effectively and in a more beneficial way for yourself and others.

Realize that forgiveness and letting go are essential. thePast will serve you well. theYour world is a wonderful place to be of service. And spending your time in some negative memory won’t help you after you have learned theYou can learn a lot from this experience. You’ll probably just cause yourself more suffering and paralyze yourself from taking action in this present moment.

If you don’t forgive then you let theYou cannot allow your past or another person to dictate how you feel. Forgiving yourself will help you let go of those bonds. You can then focus completely on the present. forFor example, theNext point.

4. Without action you aren’t going anywhere.

“An ounce of practice is worth more than tons of preaching.”

It’s impossible to make a difference without action. It can be difficult and frustrating to take action. Sometimes there is a lot of inner resistance.

As Gandhi said, preaching is an option. Or endlessly reading and studying. You feel like you’re moving forward. But you are not seeing any real results.

To really reach your goals and understand yourself and the world around you, you must practice. The majority of books can only give you information. It is up to you to put your knowledge into action and make it real.

5. Take care of your moment.

“I do not want to foresee theFuture. I care about taking care of thePresent God has given me no control. the moment following.”

The best way to overcome a problem is what I found. theTo stay in, you can overcome inner resistance that prevents us from taking action. theBe as open-minded as possible, and be as accepting as possible.

Why? You are in. the present moment you don’t worry about the next moment that you can’t control anyway. And theThe resistance to taking action that is caused by you thinking about negative future consequences or reflecting on past mistakes, loses its power. It becomes easier to take action, and to stay focused on the present moment to perform better.

6. 6.

“I claim to be a simple individual liable to err like any other fellow mortal. I own, however, that I have humility enough to confess my errors and to retrace my steps.”

“It is unwise to be too sure of one’s own wisdom. It is good to remember that the strongest might weaken and the wisest might err.”

You run the risk of making myths from people, even though they might have achieved extraordinary results. theThere is a risk of being disconnected from them. It can be easy to believe that you cannot achieve the same things as them because you are so different. So it’s important to keep in mind that everyone is just a human being no matter who they are.

And I think it’s important to remember that we are all human and prone to make mistakes. Requiring people to adhere to unreasonable standards will only cause more conflicts and create negativity in your life.

It’s also important to remember this to avoid falling into theThis is a terrible habit. Instead, learn to recognize where you are going wrong and what you can do to improve. You can always try again.

9. Be consistent, authentic, and be true to yourself

“Happiness is when what you think, what you say, and what you do are in harmony.”

“Always aim at complete harmony of thought and word and deed. Always aim at purifying your thoughts and everything will be well.”

It is my opinion that this one of the best tips forYou can improve your social skills by being congruent and authentic in communication. People love authentic communication. Harmony between your thoughts and words can bring you inner pleasure. You feel confident and positive about yourself.

If your words and thoughts align, it shows in your communication. You now have your voice tone and body language (some say they are more than 90 percent of communication) in sync with your words.

With these channels in alignment people tend to really listen to what you’re saying. Communication is free from incongruence, mixed messages, or phoniness.

Also, if your actions aren’t in alignment with what you’re communicating then you start to hurt your own belief in what you can doContinue to grow and evolve. And other people’s belief in you too.
