Twins are one thing I dislike about them. This has brought up new concerns. Are they treated as individuals? Is one too dependent on the other? How can I handle two people going through each stage simultaneously?
MomGuilt is fun, but I worry differently about my singleton. Is it possible to make him feel different and not only the brother of twins? Is he lonely because he doesn’t have a twin? (Yep, let’s ignore the fact that most people are not twins.)
But I’ve found strength that I didn’t know I had. TwinMothers can have two children at once. You can have two screaming toddlers at once. We can also give 100% of our love to both children at once. TwinMothers are incredible.
